What a puff count can — and cannot — tell you.
A number on a product page is an estimate, not a universal lifetime.

A claim needs its conditions
Manufacturer puff counts depend on draw duration, mode and testing conditions. Two identical-looking figures may not use the same assumptions. Treat the number as a claim to investigate, rather than a guaranteed number of uses.
Mode changes the comparison
The GEEK BAR PULSE source page lists different counts for its regular and pulse modes. This is a useful example of why the operating mode belongs beside the headline figure.
A more useful reading checklist
- Match the exact model and regional edition.
- Look for the mode associated with the claim.
- Separate battery recharging from liquid capacity.
- Do not infer safety or suitability from a larger number.
